Abstract
[Purpose] To seek a international way for Scientific Journals in Chinese Universities in response to the wave of scientific globalization. [Methodology]Using statistical analysis method,this paper investigate the general situation of English scientific journals in Chinese universities,and focuses on analyzing the development of English scientific journals in Chinese universities which indexed by SCI,from the citation frequency,impact factor,regional distribution,speciality establishment and so on. [Findings]The number of Scientific Journals in Chinese Universities reached 73,indexed by SCI up to 26. Citation frequency is increased as well as experiencing an improvance in impact factor,but on the whole,it is obviously insufficient. [Conclusions]The government should give some support policy,encourage the creation of English-language scientific journals,and narrow the regional gap. The journals themselves should to be improve paper quality and construct a cluster development mode which invovled in internationalization and specialization.
