The Situation and Development Thinking of English Scientific Journals in China

Scientific journals is an important carrier of the international scientific research, and all the countries attaches great importance to the degree of internationalization of scientific journals. As a non-native English country, the construction of English scientific journals in our country need to give strong support. On basis of the statistical analysis on the current situation of English scientific journals in China, this paper points out the number is increasing but the quality is not high, the scale is small and the distribution is imbalance, the research fields are limited, the subject distributions are unbalanced, the level of digitalization construction are low, the dependence on the international scientific publications is excessive. From what have been discussed above, the paper puts forward the points of views, in order to give some references.
