Abstract

Objective\] Study on the ecological characteristics of Aedes albopictus for dengue fever control The surveillance points were built and the ecological habits were observed The life history, seasonal trend and breeding ground of mosquitoes were investigated The life history of Aedes albopictus includes ova, larvae, pupae and mosquitoes Ova, larvae and pupae live in the water of the little container and the mosquitoes live in the residential area The larvae appears in first ten days of March, changing to the mosquito in the 3rd ten days of March Its density goes up gradually from April to May and reach to the bloodsucking peak in June and September Aedes albopictus canpass winter mainly in the ways by ova, as well as the larvae and the survived mosquitoes \[Conclusion\]The larvae of Aedes albopictus live mainly in all kinds of little container Their life cycle is changing with air temperature and its density reach to the peak in summer and autumn
