Review of the 30- year Studies of the Methodology of Science and Technology in China——Based on the Bibliometric Analysis of Journal Articles

Along withthe spring of science,the research on the methodology of science and technology in China was in a boom and has gone through four stages of development in the past 30 years. The four stages include: the formulation of paradigm and widespread popularization( 1978- 1991),fierce competition among different paradigms( 1992-1997),expansion from fundamental paradigm to multi-discipline( 1998-2002),and rise of the research on methodology of technology( 2003- 2010). We have statistic analysis and context analysis on the journal papers and come to the above conclusion based on the CNKI database. The paper also has an visual analysis of the literatures from CSSCI database by the method of knowledge mapping,displaying respectively the research fronts and their knowledge base in recent 10 years( 1998- 2010) in the field of methodology of science and technology.
