Abstract
Objective To investigate the morphological changes of cerebral vessels by digital subtraction angiography (DSA) in patients with central vertigo.Method 150 patients with central vertigo were treated with digital subtraction radiography in aortic arch and aortocranial angiography.Type,distribution and proportion of vessel structural abnormity of carotid artery and vertebrobasilar system were observed and analyzed.Results Of the 150 patients with central certigo,cerebrovescular lesions were found in 114 patients (76.0%),including 7 patients with simple carotid artery system lesion,98 patients with simple vertebrobasilar system lesions,and 9 patients with lesions of both systems.In those lesions,vertebrobasilar stenosis and occlusion were found in 85 cases.ts propoportion was 56.7%.Conclusion Various types of vessel structural abnormity in vertebrobasilar system are the main factor of central vertigo.
