Abstract
Objective:Analyze clinical data of elderly patients with vertigo who underwent digital subtraction angiography (Digtal Subtraction Angiography,DSA) to provide objective basis for clinical treatment. Methods: DSA were performed on 22 elderly patients that complainted of vertigo to detect the stenosis location and the number of involved vessels. Results: The results showed that DSA-positive rate was 82%,of which vertebrobasilar artery system lesions were presented in 11 cases (50%),internal carotid artery system disease in 7 cases (32%),and normal blood vessels in 4 cases (18%). Conclusion: Vertigo is closely related to ischemia of both anterior and posterior circulation.
