Abstract

The paper gives a introduction of the segment LCD,and discusses on several segment LCD driver,at the same time,suggests a method of driving the LCD by 51 MCU.According to the software approach to driving the LCD,we provide a simple and practical solution for the 51 MCU application in the field such as instrument production where segment LCD is widely used.
