The author first summarizes the Taoist ideas, then presents the fundamental theory and content of Taoist ethics, and points out that Taoism is an important part of Chinese ideological and cultural history, which exists along with confucianism and Buddhism excluding and compensating each other and constituting the basic spirit of Chinese traditional culture.
