Abstract

Taking the top 8 long jumpers in the Olympic Games and world championships as research object. The literature review, statistical and induction methods are applied to make analysis on the success rate, the frequency of sub-optimal result and effective results' stability(coefficient of variation) in the final match. The result showed that in recent years, the results of male and female champions and the top eight jumpers were in a certain intervalin six rounds, the success rate' overall trend was decreasing, that of the former three rounds was relatively higher than that of latter three round, even more declining in female athletes, male athletes were in a relatively stable rate of success in the 1,2,4,6-roundin six rounds male, athletes' frequency of sub-optimal results had no significant differences, while the female athletes had significant differencesthe stability of effective results is good, but little difference between male and female athlete, the competition environmental changes had a certain impact on stability.
