Experimental Research on the Acute Toxicity and Long-term Toxicity of Jiegudan Capsule

Abstract

Objective:To research the acute toxicity and long-term toxicity of the Jiegudan Capsule and observe its toxicity sidi-effect. Methods:healthy kunming species mice and SD species rats were picked out. First,having an acute toxicity test,5.0g·kg-1 Jiegudan Capsule,were given to 20 pcs mice,ehema one time,continuous giving medicine one week. 80 pcs rats were given long-term toxicity test and divided into 4 groups,big small little group (were given Jiegudan Capsule 0.5g,1g,3g·kg-1 separately) and control group (were given physiological saline 1mL·100g-1). Jiegudan Capsule should be made into water reagent. All the animals were given medicine in ehema. Results:The oral maximal tolerance dose of Jiegudan Capsule in mice was more than 5.0g·kg-1. There was no significant difference between the testgroups and the control in all tested parameters.Conclusion:The Jiegudan Capsule have no obviously toxicity,so suggest that Jiegudan Capsule is safe for clinical application.
