Abstract
In this paper, mineral association, ore type, ore texture, ore structure and occurrence states of the Wenquan Molybdenum deposit in Wushan Gansu have been analyzed for the first time by methods such as microscopic identification, electron probe(EPMA),X-diffraction crystal powder analysis and so on.Ore mineral controlled by Wenquan porphyritic rockbody is originated from mesothermal hydrothermal.Essential minerals are 2H-type molybdenite(hexagonal system) and idiomorphic-subhedral with shapes of scale-like,flake-like,and lath-like.Molybdenite with granularity from +0.08mm to 0.16mm occupies 51.65% of the total molybdenite.Pyrite has high content of molybdenum, the sooner of its formation time, the higher of its molybdenum content.
