A Summary of Theoretical Studies about Online Public Sentiment and its Crisis in China

Abstract
Regarding to the connotation and characteristics of online public opinion, the emergence, development and evolution of online public opinion crisis, the monitoring, study and judgment, instruction, countermeasure of online public opinion and online public opinion crisis, as well as the key viewpoint of related theory studies of network politics and network democracy in China, the author makes an overall conclusion and analysis. It aims to provide theoretical references for further exploring the law of online public opinion, correctly guiding the development of online public opinion, and reasonably coping with online public opinion crisis.
