Abstract

Deng Xiao-ping’s theory on social development is an important integral part of Deng Xiao-ping Theory, which has five basic characteristics: First, it embodies the characteristic of socialist development in China's social development. Secondly, it is the theory to realize the modernization in China. Thirdly, it focuses on perfecting and developing socialist system through reform. Fourthly, it includes new contents of characteristics of today. Fifthly, It shows the integration of reform, development and steadiness in the practice of building socialist modernization.
