Abstract

Objective:To explore pathological features, clinical presentation, biological behavior and immune staining of the peritoneal solitary fibrous tumor. Methods:To immunohistochemical analysis on treatment of six patients with peritoneal solitary fibrous tumor from February 2011 to March 2012,and to observe the clinical and pathological features. Results:Light microscope, the tumor cells varied forms. To behold the branch-like structure of the skin tumor from rich cells to rich collagen fiber area,it had fat cells and myxoid change.Tumor divided into four types:cell type, fiber type, full of giant cell type and fat formation type.Immunohistochemical phenotype:almost all tumor cells were diffusely positive for vimentin,CD34,bcl-2 and CD99.Conclusion:That peritoneal solitary fibrous tumor has lower incidence should avoid mistaken to other spindle cell tumor, immunohistochemistry marker and organizations pathological features can help the differential diagnosis.
