Consciousness of Editor-in-chief and the Quality Control of Sci-tech Periodicals

Abstract
The relationship between consciousness of editor-in-chief and the quality control of sci-tech periodicals was discussed based on the editing practice.Consciousness of editor-in-chief is the decisive factor of the quality control of sci-tech periodicals.In this paper,the author expatiates on how to hold the direction of the quality control of sci-tech periodicals,from political theory,academic level,editorial quality and publishing quality of the journal.The demanding on consciousness of editor-in-chief of sci-tech periodicals is clarified,meanwhile,four consciousness they should possess are raised,which are political consciousness with definite banner,sci-tech consciousness with creating and developing,editing and publishing consciousness in transcendence,management and administration consciousness with aimed innovation.Thus,to achieve the demanding of journal quality,accomplish the whole course of journal quality control and finally develop a high quality academic journal,editor-in-chief of sci-tech periodical has to strengthen his own consciousness constantly and expand his knowledges and quality.
