Abstract
In this paper,related technical and application problems of simulating acceleration time histories from velocity records of velocity seismograph CTS1-EDASC24 and FBS3-EDASC24 of local digital seismograph network are investigated,including the choice of simulation methods,analysis of instrument characteristics and simulation parameters,comparison between simulating acceleration time histories and records of acceleration seismograph SLJ100-GDQJⅡ,simulating acceleration time histories of selected earthquakes in Fujian and its adjacent areas ( 1998.7 -2008.7),application of the results in synthesizing site design earthquakes. And specific application examples are provided. The results improve the value of velocity records in province-level digital seismograph network.
