Study on antibiotics sensitivity of three strains of edible lactic acid ba.cteria

Lactic acid bacteria are beneficial members of the microbiota in the gastro-intestinal tract of humans.The application of antibiotics could result in function reduction or even devitalization of lactic acid bacteria.In order to uncover the antibiotics sensitivity of lactic acid bacteria and instruct human to apply lactic acid bacteria products reasonably if they were taken simultaneously with antibiotic therapy,this study focused on sensitivity tests of 3 strains of lactic acid bacteria(Lactobacillus bulgaricus,Streptococcus thermophilus and Streptococcus acidi lactici)to 5 kinds of antibiotics(ampicillin,chloramphenicol,erythromycin,streptomycin and tetracycline).The results showed that different lactic acid bacteria possessed different sensitivity to different antibiotics.It put people in mind of the influence of antibiotics,when they employ food and health protection containing lactic acid bacteria.
