Abstract
The Na-bentonite was modified with cetyltrimethyl ammonium chloride(CTAC),and the effects(amount of bentonite, adsorption time,pH value of the solution) on adsorption of Zn2+ were studied.Meanwhile, the adsorption results of Zn2+ in inorganic bentonite and organic modified bentonite were compared. It was indicated that the bentonites were good adsorbent materials for Zn2+,but the adsorption capability of organic modified bentonite was stronger than that of inorganic one.Furthermore, the effects of pH value on the Zn2+ adsorption in the bentonites were different.
