Abstract
The influence factors of sodium based organic bentonite and thermodynamic behaviors of organic bentonite adsorbing the low concentration Cr6+waste water were studied, taking cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide as organic intercalation agent. The results show that the optimization conditions of preparing organic bentonite are as follows, the system pH is 7,the reaction temperature is 70 ℃,the modifier dosage is 1.1 mmol/g,the liquid-solid ratio is 0.05 g/mL and the activated time is 1 h.When the mass concentration of organic bentonite is 8 g/L,the removal rate of Cr6+ can reach more than 98%.The adsorption of Cr6+ by organic bentonite follows Freundlich isotherm model.
