Clinical Research on CO-CR Discrepancy of Anterior Occluding Relation in Malocclusion Patients

Abstract

Objective: To study the CO-CR discrepancy of anterior occluding relation in malocclusion patients.Methods: 78 malocclusion patients were selected as the object.CR was acquired using two-hand technique.AD2 articulator was used to record the CO and CR occlusion and the anterior overbite and ovejet was measured subsequently.Results: There are statistical differences in the mean of overbite and overjet between CO and CR.The discrepancy of overbite and overjet showed a great negative correlation.Conclusion: The occlusion in CR position should be analyzed before treatment to reveal the disharmony between occlusion and jaw position,which help finding out the growth pattern of patients.
