RESEARCH ON THE DEVELOPMENT FEATURES OF COLLEGE STUDENTS' ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVATION

The achievement motivation for College students is to realize their self-value,make full use of their own potential and to expect that such pursuit will meet the social need and be acknowledged by the society.Studies show that the motivation level does not show significant changes during the four years in college.As far as their school work is concerned,the motivation level drops year by year;the motivation varies between students from cities and those from the countryside,though it is not remarkable;family background and economic status have great influence on their motivation level;and individualoriented motivation is more remarkable than the social-oriented,though they are coexistent.At present,college students' achievement motivation is about the medium level in the overall learning motivation.
