Abstract

Objective:To explore the possibility of rat adipose tissue-derived mesenchymal stem cells(ADMSCs)differentiating into the hepatocyte-like cells in vivo. Methods:The passage 3 ADMSCs that were isolated from donor male SD rats at age of 4 weeks and labeled BrdU in vitro were transplanted to other SD rats which with chronic liver injury induced by the treatment of CC14 by portal vein injection.By the end of the 2nd week after transplantation,we observed whether the BrdU positive and albumin expression positive cells which were like hepyocytes were detected by immunofluorescence technique. Results:In the group of portal vein injection, the BrdU positive cells with albumin expression simultaneously were detected by the end of the 2nd week after transplantation. Conclusions: ADMSCs are capable of differentiating into the hepatocytes-like cells in vivo.
