Abstract

To address some problems confronting university journals,the paper points out that characterized development is an approach to keeping the journals alive while rational orientation is the premise.Taking some excellent university journals in Jiangsu Province as example,the paper proposes some suggestions towards the orientation of university journals with respect to the horizontal and vertical approaches,namely the level of the given university and its allocation of disciplines.
