Analysis of Li Shang-yin's Epic Poems

Abstract
Li Shang-yin, a famons poet, wrote a number of epic poems which were produced in the middle and late Tang Dynasty of a sppcial political background. These poems have the characteristics of reality and epoch with ironical content,emotional expression,artistic diction,and particular lyrics. The epic poems show his penetration ideas and profound feelings, thus establishing his reputation in China's epic poems and having some effect on the later generations.
