Clinical Observation of Modified Zishen Tiaogeng Decoction on Treating 36 Cases with Perimenopausal Syndrome

Abstract

Objective: To observe the curative effect of modified Zishen Tiaogeng Decoction on treating perimenopausal syndrome. Methods: 72 cases were randomly divided into two groups,and treated with modified Zishen Tiaogeng Decoction( treatment group) or Tibolone( control group) for two months as a course. Then,before and after treatment,menopausal syndrome was observed using the clinical effects and Kupperman Index( KI) as the indexes. Results: Before and after treatment,KI had statistical difference( P 0. 01) in two groups. And there was no significant difference between them after the treating( P 0. 05). The symptoms of perimenopausal syndrome were both improved in two groups. But the treatment group had more changes than the control group. Conclusion: Modified Zishen Tiaogeng Decoction was effective on treating perimenopausal syndrome.
