Analysis on outbreaks of infectious disease in schools in Jinhua from 2005 to 2009

Abstract
Objective To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of outbreaks of infectious diseases in Jinhua,and to provide a scientific basis for the prevention and control in school.Methods A method of descriptive epidemiological was used to analyze the data of outbreaks of infectious diseases.Results A total of 79 outbreaks were reported,accounting for 85.86% of epidemics(79/92).Most of them concentrated between autumn and spring.Among them,acute respiratory infectious disease was the main disease.And they mostly broke out at primary schools,middle schools and nurseries and kindergartens(30,24,12,respectively).Conclusion Schools are the main places of infectious disease outbreaks in Jinhua city.It is the key way to prevent and control respiratory epidemic in rural primary school.
