Abstract
A high-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) method has been developed for simultaneous determination of jatrorrhizine, palmatine and berberine in Mahonia duclouxiana Gagnep..The sample was treated by ultrasonic extraction with HCl-MeOH solution(1∶100,by volume). The filtrate was separated on a C18 column by using acetonitrile-0.05 mol/L KH2PO4(28∶72,by volume) solution, whose pH was adjusted to 3.0 with H3PO4,as mobile phase, and detected at 265 nm.The average recoveries of jatrorrhizine hydrochloride, palmatine hydrochloride and berberine hydrochloride from spiked sample were 99%,100% and 99%,respectively.The relative standard deviations were 1.43%,1.93% and 2.82%(n=9),respectively.
