Abstract
The deformation of a pit in soft foundation during excavation is analyzed by using two-dimensional FEM.Step-construction is simulated with the finite element program PLAXIS.A practical excavation project is studied, and the calculated results are compared with measured results. It is shown that deformation calculation for pit excavation by PLAXIS is reliable.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
