Abstract
Using the software Plaxis 8.0,the three-dimensional excavation of deep foundation pit were analyzed through a case. The distributions of horizontal displacement of slope and settlement of ground were obtained. The horizontal displacement and settlement obtained by the simulations agree well with those measured data. The results indicate that the software Plaxis 8.0 was feasible in the process of the numerical simulation of foundation pit excavation and support, and the computed results can provide references for the design and construction of practical engineering.
