Abstract

The literary creation by Mongols involves a number of languages and scripts,mainly the Mongolian,the Han Chinese and the Tibetan.The history of literary creation by Mongols in Han Chinese is long.It is against the context of cultural exchange between the Han and the Mongol and the influence of Confucianism is obvious in the process.During the Qing Dynasty,the Han Chinese literary creation by Mongols can be divided into two periods:the earlier and the later.We can identify different Zeitgeists and communication features from the two periods.The distinct features include the influence of Confucianism over the frontier ethnic governance,the recording and studying of imperial examination and Confucian classics by Mongol scholars,and the embodiment of Confucian ideology in the Mongolian literary creation and education,etc.
