Abstract
This paper introduces a high-performance embedded SMP system based on PowerPC, which uses high performance processor MPC7448, and has excellent computational performance. In the paper, characteristics of SMP system are described; each module in the system is analyzed and designed; porting process of both bootloader and Linux is also explained in detail.
