English Writing and the Teaching of College English Reading

Abstract

The serious lag of college English writing instruction in the whole English teaching is a common phenomenon,yet it is very difficult for many colleges to establish writing courses in the near future.Considering the situation,this paper discusses how to impart writing knowledge and develop students' writing ability in the teaching of college English reading based on the analysis of defects in college students' English writing.
