Analysis of the Effect of Lipoic Acid Injection Combined with Body Pressure Pump in the Treatment of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy

Abstract
Objective To observe the curative effect of lipoic acid injection combined with body pressure pump in the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy. Methods 64 cases of inpatients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy were selected and randomly divided into 2 groups. 32 cases in the treatment group were given lipoic acid injection combined with body pressure pump for treatment, 32 cases in the control group were only given mecobalamine tablets oral treatment, 20 days for a course of treatment. The changes of peripheral nerve symptoms and nerve conduction velocity of two groups of patients before and after treatment were observed, and the efficacy was evaluated. Results in the aspect of peripheral nerve conduction velocity, the treatment group's peroneal nerve was 56.85.2±10.41m/s; tibial nerve was 63.32±11.46m/s, compared with the data peroneal nerve was 22.35±12.23m/s; tibial nerve was 27.83±14.35m/s before the treatment, the nerve conduction velocity increased significantly(P0.01),and compared with those the control group(peroneal nerve was 28.07±11.69 m/s; tibial nerve was 24.27±10.95 m/s), the nerve conduction velocity increased obviously(P0.01). Conclusion The effect of lipoic acid combined with body pressure pump in the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy is remarkable, and better than the effect of mecobalamin tablets given to the control group.
