Abstract
H-β zeolite modified with AlCl3 was used to catalyse the esterification reaction of n-butyric acid with n-pentanol to synthesize amyl butyrate in a high yield. The activation energy (kJ/mol) for the esterification reaction was determined, and its kinetic equation was also established. Both the activation energy and kinetic equation for the esterification reaction were compared with those in the presence of no catalyst, respectively.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
