Abstract

Aiming at the characteristic of hard roof and hard coal and the processing problem of Datong Coalfield,this paper put forward a technology of softening top coal and controlling roof for full-mechanized caving mining.This technology improved caving characteristic of top coal and roof by pre-blasting coal and roof and realized high production and high efficiency of full-mechanized caving mining under condition of hard roof and hard coal.
