Abstract
This paper introduces the development and characteristics of basalt fiber and summarizes the major characteristics of basalt fiber reinforced concrete(BFRC).It describes the researches on impact resistance,reinforcement,corrosion resistance and dynamic energy dissipation of basalt fiber in concrete structure in recent years,which is favorable for promotion and application of basalt fiber reinforced concrete in practical engineering.
