INVESTIGATION OF THE MANAGEMENT OF NEUROTROPIN FOR REMNANT SYMPTOM AFTER POST OPERATION OF LUMBAR SPINAL CANAL STENOSIS

Abstract

Objective: To assess the effects of Neurotropin on remnant symptom after post operation of lumbar spinal canal stenosis.Methods:40 patients with some remnant symptoms were randomly divided into two groups;control group,only admined with 0.9% NS and Neurotropin group.With neurotropin 10.8 IU intravenously for 14 days.Pain and numbness were recorded according visual analogue scales(VAS).Results: The scores of VAS of pain and numbness decreased after administration with neurotropin at 7th day and 14th day.There was significant difference between neurotropin and control groups.Conclusions: The results suggest that it is effective,safe and convenient on the management of Neurotropin to reduce remnant symptom after post operation of lumbar spinal canal stenosis.
