Abstract
[Objective]To report 4 patients with hepatitis B e antigen-positive chronic hepatitis, who were treated by pegylated interferon α-2a within less than 1 year, obtained clearance of HBsAg.[Methods]The therapy of pegylated interferon α-2a or sequential therapy with pegylated interferon α-2a and entecavir were utilized to treat the 4 patients with hepatitis B e antigen-positive chronic hepatitis. The biochemical, virological and serological indicators were monitored periodically.[Results]All the patients acquired serum HBVDNA loss,HBeAg/anti-HBe seroconversion and HBsAg clearance, one patient even obtained HBsAg /anti-HBs seroconversion. After 3-9 months follow-up,the above detection results kept steady.[Conclusion]The therapy of pegylated interferon α-2a in curing hepatitis B e antigen-positive chronic hepatitis could successfully inhibit the replication of hepatitis B virus(HBV).Some patients are expected to obtain the efficacy of HBeAg/anti-HBe seroconversion,HBsAg clearance and even HBsAg /anti-HBs seroconversion.
