Abstract

The alkylation of benzene with ethylene in FCC off - gas over catalyst FX - 02 from β zeolite wasstudied with a dry gas pressure of 1. 0 ~ 1. 2 MPa, an ethylene content of 10% ~ 15% and with the content ofother olefins 1 %, the appropriate operating conditions of alkylation are as follows: the dehydrated and desulfurized feed gas being divided into three parts, temperature 140~ 160 t, benzene WHSV 2 h-1 and benzene to thetotal olefins molar ratio 6/1 ~8/1. Under the experimental conditions aforementioned, the conversion of ethyleneand benzene is 80 % ~9O % and 1O % ~ 15 % respectively. No obvious decrease in ethylene conversion is observedafter 1000 h operation.
