Effects of different bags on fruit quality of ‘Jiefangzhong’loquat

The effects of different paper bags on fruit quality of 慗iefangzhong?loquat were studied. When bagged in high quality bags (Shengda and Kaixiang K2), the appearance of fruits were better than the control (newspaper bag); fruit rust index and rate of sunscald and splitting fruit decreased; the percentage of first class fruit increased by 20%～30%; the contents of soluble solids and reducing sugar were greater than those of the control. Low quality bags, such as Kaixiang K1 and newspaper bag, are easy to be damaged and not good for fruit bagging.
