Abstract
Objective:To develop an emulsion solvent evaporation technique for the preparation of nanoparticles. Methods:The effects of different formulation and technics factors on the particle size, drug loading, and drug encapsulation efficiency were evaluated by single factor design and orthogonal design. Results:The nanoparticles prepared by emulsion solvent evaporation technique were round and uniform in size. The drug encapsulation efficiency of most preparations were more than 50%,and their particle size could be controlled. Conclusions:An emulsion solvent evaporation technique was optimized to manufacture nanoparticles meeting different requirement.
