Application of solvent evaporation method in preparation of drug microcapsule

Abstract
The preparation of drug microcapsules by the solvent evaporation method is reviewed,and the technical principles of solvent evaporation are introduced.Three major steps of preparing microcapsules by solvent evaporationare outlined,namely,(1) Formation of droplets,(2) Preparation of microcapsules by solvent evaporation,(3) Harvesting and drying of microcapsules.The research trends of microcapsule are also discussed.
