Monitoring analysis of drinking water in Dalian city 2012

Objective To understand water quality condition of Dalian city,strengthen the drinking water hygiene management,provide scientific basis for the people's health.Methods According to national standards for drinking water(GB 5749-2006 and GB/T 5750-2006),drinking water of different water quality was collected and detected in Dalian city.Results The drinking water was sampled including treated water from 6 municipal waterworks,20 tap water,3 self-provided water and 10 secondary water supply monitoring points,the qualified rate of factory water was 100%.The monitoring results showed that factory water from municipal water supply was in line with the sanitary standard for drinking water(GB 5749-2006).85.00% of tap water samples met with national standards in 80 tap water samples,40 samples of secondary water supply from 40 high-buildings were monitored and qualified rate was 90.00%,qualified rate of self-provided water was 66.67%.Conclusion The monitoring results show that overall condition of water quality of drinking water is good in Dalian city.
