On the Structure of the Future Civil Code of China

Abstract

The compiling of Civil Code has attracted lots of scholars and lawmakers' attention,and among them,many put their hands to the research of structure arrangement.The appropriate method of code compiling in China is to reform the existing law on the basis of doctrines at the present day.The structure arrangement of the future Civil Code in China should start with the design of the General Rules,use Civil Rights as the thread,and form a six-book mode.The six books refer to General Rules,Law of Personal Right,Marriage and Family,Succession.
