On the Issues of the Compiling of the Civil Code

This article suggests that the codification system of the China Civil Code should have three parts, namely, the general provisions, the civil rights, and the civil liabilities, with an appendix of the international private laws. Personal rights and intellectual property law should be included in the part of the civil rights, a separate part should set aside for the civil liabilities and the international private laws, as a traditional practice, should be included in the Civil Code.
