Abstract

Based on the principle of DOW Fire Explosion Index, the risk assessment method of fire explosion for chemicals has been set up in the light of its characteristics. By this method, the actual probable property damage, the loss of business interruption and other safety economic indicators can be obtained. The countermeasures therefore can be put forward to control the risk to an acceptable level after the comprehensive safety analysis of the target.
