Abstract
Based on the analysis of main risk factors within the converter gas storage system,Dow Chemical fire and explosion risk indexes of assessment method are applied to the quantitative calculation and evaluation of the system's fire and explosion risk. The evaluation result shows that the risk level of system may be cut down through the safety measure compensation, for it can be reduced from bigger to smaller, even near the safety state. Then the explosion accident of gas-holder is simulated, and this can provide the scientific proof for the objective and directive prevention and control of gas accidents.
