Abstract

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of TCM complex treatment on acute cerebral infarction . Methods 90 patients with acute cerebral infarction were randomly divided into two groups. 45 patients in treatment group were treated with TCM decoction and acupuncture ;the other 45 patients in control group were treated with citicholine and enteric aspirin, with a treatment course of 4 weeks for both groups. After 4-week's treatment the therapeutic effect were observed in both groups. Results The total effective rate and basics cure rate in treatment group were 93.3% and 48.9% , which were 73.4% and 26.7% in control group respectively. There was a significant difference between two groups ( P 0.01 or P 0.05). Conclusion The TCM complex therapy has obvious therapeutic effect on acute cerebral infarction.
