Western Marxist Philosophy Studies and Construction of Chinese Marxist Philosophy

Since the reform and opening-up,Western Marxist philosophy has been introduced into China,pushing forward the construction of Chinese Marxist philosophy.Yet,unsatis-factorily,the interaction between the two has not been optimized.This failure may be ex-plained by the fact that,on the one hand,Chinese researchers of Western Marxist philoso-phy have not got their values and way of study conformed to the construction of Chinese Marxist philosophy;on the other hand,they are ignorant of knowledge and definition en-tailed to the studies of Western Marxist philosophy.An optimal interaction between the study of Western Marxist philosophy and the construction of Chinese Marxist philosophy can be achieved by having a correct view of development of Marxist philosophy,intensif-ying the theoretical research of Western Marxist philosophy,enhancing the understanding of it and holding equal dialogues between the two.
