Abstract
As the base of heavy industry Taiyuan is one of the city with serious shortagein water source and industrial water occupy 50% in total water supply. In this article the present situation of industrial water and water saving and existent problems are elaborated. At the same time the corresponding measures are proposed to harmonize the relationship of water source and the development of industrial water. At last author point out that the emphasis in industrial water management is to realize the sustainable development of economy.
